Another Milestone

Bonjour

As we all know 2020, wasn't exactly a good year for any one of us all around the world. The world’s economy was drastically affected. Almost millions of people lost their lives all around the globe, many still suffering from the after-effects of the pandemic and though it was said the situation will get better by the end of the year it’s still not good after the recent COVID-19 strain hit the UK.

Last year wasn’t good for me as well both health-wise and financially. In March 2020 I had an accident and got my left ankle's bone dislocated because of which I was bed-ridden for more than 3 months and then COVID-19 hit India, which has far worse effects than getting bed-ridden. Between my injury, and COVID-19 I lost my job because of my injury and I wasn’t able to work efficiently. Firstly, I was devastated because finally, I was getting on my feet, and taking care of myself instead of asking Paa for pocket money, I was spending on them. But as I got the month to process I found all this as an amazing opportunity in disguise. I tried to utilize this time on myself, getting back on my feet not financially but physically. I exercised, my foot got better and pushed myself a little further to run at least a mile a day so that my ankle could bear the pain. And as for my personal growth, I read more books. I started writing blogs, and I completed my stories that I hadn’t completed after I got the job. I worked as a freelance content writer for multiple companies, big, and small, startups all sorts of organizations. And while working as a freelancer I might not be able to get the right kind of pay for my work but I have gained lots of experience.

It might not look like a very bad situation but facing it myself, I know how much other people have suffered during this pandemic. And now, as the vaccine has been made hopefully the situation around the world will get better this year. All I want to tell everyone is every time pass away good or bad nothing stays. Just be strong and try to utilise this time to improve yourself as a professional and as a person.

Au revoir
